HTML Image Link

HTML image links are no different than the HTML text links.

The difference is that we get to click on the image instead of the text this time.

So basically, both are the same by function, just different by structure.

To create an image link, we need to place the image inside the link tag, instead of text.

So a text link would look like this:

<a href=”https://beginnersguidetohtml.com/”>This text will be the link</a>

In an image link, we replace the text with the img tag and the source of the image:

<a href=”https://beginnersguidetohtml.com/”>
<img src=”/wp-content/uploads/Mykonos-1.jpg” />
</a>

The above would give us:

Keep in mind, the img tag can still use it’s attributes:

alt=”Description of picture”
width=”1000″
height=”666″
Style tag to align image inline
